Aurora Instruments Ltd., based in Vancouver Canada is dedicated to designing, manufacturing and servicing scientific instruments, including Atomic Absorption Spectrometer (AAS), Atomic Fluorescence Spectrometer (AFS), UV/Vis Spectrophotometers, and Microwave Digestion systems and VERSA liquid handling systems. These instruments are used to accelerate research in elemental analysis, genomics, proteomics and drug discovery.
Since the debut of the patented Capacitively Coupled Plasma source
at the 1991 Pittcon conference in Chicago,
Aurora Instruments’ products have been the subject of numerous
journal articles, product reviews and have been displayed on the
covers of a number of publications including Spectroscopy.
Aurora Instruments’ products have many established, unique
applications. One unique "element analysis" application is the analysis of phosphorous in nickel and cobalt powders using the AI 2200 Plasma Emission Spectrometer. A second is the determination of high
temperature elements such as Si and Al using the AI 1200 Atomic
Absorption Spectrometer’s spatially and temporally isothermal
graphite furnace atomizer.
At Aurora Instruments it is a top priority that our users receive
strong dependable customer support. That’s why we have assembled a
team of application chemists and engineers to quickly and
accurately assist you with method development, thus maximizing
instrument performance and minimizing instrument down times.
The company has also secured the support of the Canadian
Commercial Corporation (CCC). The CCC gives overseas buyers the
assurance that Canadian suppliers have the financial and technical
capabilities required to conform with bid specifications, contract
terms and conditions, and suppliers’ warranties. |
